The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award is still open for nominations until 30 June 2017, and is the last BIFM Awards 2017 category to close.

The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates and recognises individuals who have made great contributions to facilities management throughout their career in FM.

Judges will assess nominees on their passion and dedication to the facilities management industry, as well as their evidence of having made a significant or positive impact.

Nominated individuals must meet the following criteria:

> An established history and proven track record in facilities management
> Exhibited professional leadership and inspiration to others
> Made a positive and lasting impact on the FM profession or industry
> The respect of their peers
> Integrity and be recognised by the industry as playing a key role in the progression of the profession or development of the industry.

Previous winners have included Keith Glennister, ISS, in 2016, Martin Pickard in 2015 and Christopher Stoddart in 2014 for their outstanding achievements in facilities management.
