Lifetime Achievement Award
The BIFM Lifetime Achievement Award recognises individuals who have made a significant and recognised contribution to facilities management over the course of their career. The winner of this prestigious Award will have made a significant and lasting impact on the profession or industry. Nominations are made by the BIFM Board, BIFM Awards Lead Judges and BIFM Fellows Committee.
Individuals will be chosen in secret based on a clear demonstration of their commitment to the progression of FM where they have made both a significant and positive impact throughout their career. The individual must have:
An established history and proven track record in facilities management
> Exhibited professional leadership and inspiration to others
> Made a positive and lasting impact on the FM profession or industry
> The respect of their peers
> Integrity and be recognised by the industry as playing a key role in the progression of the profession or development of the industry.
Direct entries are not accepted in this category and no finalists will be announced.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is judged by:
> The BIFM Chairman, Stephen Roots
> The BIFM Awards Chair of Judges, Steve Gladwin
> 2 representatives from the Fellows Committee
> 2 representatives from the panel of Lead Judges.
