The Facilities Management Awards

The BIFM Awards recognise and showcase best-in-class facilities management (FM) and evidence its impact on business, the economy and society.

Facilities management professionals are responsible for services that enable and support business. As such the BIFM Awards are much more than just a ‘ceremony’; winners and finalists serve as a source of best practice for peers to be inspired from, and to learn from.

As the industry leading Awards, the BIFM Awards seek out the gold standard across FM and beyond. Entries come from a cross-section of organisations regardless of size, type and sector from all across the world. This means that being a finalist, or a winner, is a true achievement and testament to the great work carried out by the individual, team, project, collaboration or organisation.

Our past winners act as a legacy for others to look to for inspiration and chart a history of how the FM profession has evolved.

Many of our entrants have gone on to further worldwide success. The winners, highly commended and finalists from the Awards have an impressive track record of taking the top places in the ‘Global FM Awards’ which is testament to the calibre of the BIFM Awards. Successes include wins in 2016 for Heathrow Airport, 2015 for JLL, in 2014 for Deborah Rowland, in 2012 for both KPMG and Serco Healthcare Enabling Services, in partnership with Forth Health and NHS Forth Valley (NHSFV), Forth Valley Royal Hospital; and in 2011 for BBC Workplace and also MITIE FM.
